Fresh Breeze & Halloumi Cheese

So this year late fall-early winter I got the chance to spend on a sleepy Mediterranean Island - Cyprus. Very interesting experience I must say. I had quite modest expectations, and have seen both things that I like and dont like.

Here comes my short top 3 list of the things I do like with Cyprus:
1. beautiful climate
2. amazing sunsets
3. halloumi cheese.

Will be back with some photos of these fabulous sunsets, breath-taking views and one and another halloumi pic.

At Lamberts

One day of relaxing, sightseeing and enjoying food and some drinks.

Food here in Austin is amazing. We are basically visiting Whole Food Market every second day buying supplies and eating something tasty and healthy from their huge
 buffe.

This was a dinner at one of many cute restaurants in Austin downtown.

California Postcards

Santa Monica is a upscale beachfront city in western LA county. This pretty place can offer you the best of the best of the beach life. Think Baywatch and you have it. Sunny weather, beautiful people around you, the ocean, the waves.

What I liked the most about Santa Monica: this was second week in september and the weather was just perfect. And I guess this sunny weather just make people happy, because everybody was smiling.

Perfect Spot In Las Vegas

I have been traveling a bit, here and there, business and private, so there were opportunities to stay at some nice hotels now and then. So it is with carefully chosen words I am announcing that this is THE Hotel, the best hotel experience I have had so far.

Mandarin Orient is a collection of luxury hotels located in the world’s most prestigious destinations. This hotel in Las Vegas is built two years ago. The interior design...the service, the staff, the background music and sweet fresh smell, the pool, the bed, so many small detail that were not expected but so appreciated. Loved it.

Hot Weather & Bling Bling

Sooo after days spent in Vegas here is my observations:

Vegas is one huge bling-bling-city that is here to offer you one million ways to have fun and one million ways to spend money. Everything is created, designed and produced for you forget the real world. In a way everything is made up, everything is fake. The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World.

Walking down the streets of you will be surrounded by the skyscrapers of New York, you can wave to the Eiffel tower or why not take a ride in a gondola, Venice is right there. How crazy is that? The quality and diversity of restaurant and nightlife is amazing. You can get what ever you want 24/7.

I spent most of the time exploring the huge new built hotels paying attention to the interior design of these bars, restaurants, clubs etc. So much money is invested in every projects, everything is big and extraordinary. I wouldn't say that I adore the interiors, it is just too much for my minimalistic taste, but ideas and effort put in each place has to appreciated.
