Postcards from Makarska Riviera

Ten minutes drive from Makarska you can find the cute small village, Baska Voda with not more than 1600 residents. Once a farming and fishing town, this idyllic spot is now a modern tourist attraction on the Makarska Riviera in the heart of Dalmatia.
We had an amazing day at the beach and a tasty dinner before returning to Makarska. 

From Amsterdam With Love

I have been looking trough my pics from amazing celebration of Queens Day in Amsterdam! I think what amazed me most is the level of happiness and kindness of all the people we met that day! So many people on the streets, parting the whole day and nothing but good positive energy is coming out of it! You know what I refer to, no violence, no drunk idiots, no sabotaging public property just for fun, no throwing bicycles in the river, no speeding with the boats...nothing! Just pure hapiness, good music, people dancing and smiling, having most amazing time, having fun, giving love to each other! Beautiful! Thank you Amsterdam once again! :)So this is early in the morning, The Fantastic Four. Our matching outfits were a huge success! And I just bought EllaFantAstic (the elephant toy) for 1 euro. She was our mascot and very loved by all.

21.00 the street party is over, and the night clubbing begins. We choose to watch the sunset from our friend Merikas beautiful roof terrace, crash the neighbours party, and go to bed early. THE Perfect Queens Day Celebration!
