Bike Ride by The Sea

Two days ago I was in a different place on a really fun assignment - to explore the Croatian coast on a bike. I had high expectations on my physical and mental ability, and it went quite good considering the high temperature, mediocre bike and rough terrain. Needless to say it was a real pleasure, to ride the bike, sing for myself, with camera ready to capture the moment. Always curious what is hiding behind the next curve...Is there another beautiful bay? A deserted small beach? For me? Only me?

And my final destination - my favorite beach in Baska Voda. Some swimming and sun bathing before returning to Makarska. 

Postcards from Mayfair

One day my very good friend asked me if I could find a Marc Jacobs store in London and buy her a skin for Iphone 4 and see if they had The Dress. Of course I could do that, I would love to!
So I took my walking shoes, camera, map and entered the streets of Mayfair where the store was located. Well needless to say it was a pleasure to walk around in this area. It is part of central London and one of the most luxurious areas, with embassies, fancy hotels, restaurants, bars and of course lovely shops. Here comes some pix!
BTW IPhone skin was sold out in whole Europe, and i forgot how the dress looked like. I guess I am taking round two of Mayfair one of these days.

 

 

Once upon a time on Saturday

It is Saturday again, and the obligatory visit to Borough Market.
So far I have spotted three different brownie bakeries and I have tried 2-3 sorts from each bakery. Still many more delicious chocolate wonders to try, will keep on working my way trough the menu.

Let me introduce you to (from left to right) a cheesecake brownie, a blueberry brownie, a fudge brownie and finally a ginger brownie.

Of course there is huge diversity of food on the market other than brownies. Traditional English dishes, mushrooms and beef pies, duck sandwiches, cheese and wine, and also all other cuisines. But you know me. I am always saving my self for desert.
