Venice Love Story

You just can't resist falling in love with this city, built on an archipelago of 117 islands formed by 177 canals in a shallow lagoon, connected by 409 bridges. It's like a poem.

We had an extra surprise:
Huge firework to celebrate Festa del Rendentore, an event held in Venice on the third Saturday and Sunday in July every year and that happened to be yesterday. I had no idea. It was really beautiful to watch.

Lago Di Garda

After couple of hours driving trough the alps we have finally reached lake Garda. Lago di Garda is the largest lake in Italy located in North. There are many adorable small town to stop by at this area, the ancient fortified town of Sirmione, lovely Malcesine, cutest Cassone, and so many more. The water in the lake is clear and fresh and surroundings are just stunning.
Italy is so beautiful isn't it?

One Day in Zurich

The road trip continues. We made a short visit and said hello to my fiends in Zurich.  With it's population of 400.000 it is the biggest city in Switzerland, among the world's largest financial centres, located on the beautiful Lake Zurich.
According to several surveys from 2006 to 2008, Zurich was named the city with the best quality of life in the world as well as the wealthiest city in Europe.

Welcome to the this nice town.

Old town of Zurich with it's cosy restaurants.

Quality of the water is top of the line.

On every corner you could find nice cafes and restaurants. My observation is that Swiss people love to dress up. It was sunday, sunday brunch time, and people looked fab.

Sunday chill at the lake...
