Highway 101 & Ocean Breeze

This epic road trip started in San Francisco and ended up in San Diego. There is variety of things to do and to see while heading south with the ocean on your right side. Simple google search will give you many road trip options and planed tours. We did it in a very casual way, completely relaxed, making stops every now and then to enjoy the views, feel the fresh ocean breeze, make spontaneous rides trough redwood forest and finally check in to cute hotels we found along our way. Our home for a day or two were Carmel, Monterey, Ventura, Santa Barbara. Activities as tasting local wines and taking long walks on beautiful beaches were on our schedule every day, as well as playing with squirrel and deers.
To be totally honest, before taking this road trip I associated California mainly with Hollywood and Baywatch. I am very grateful to have seen even this side of California, beautiful and more serene.

Golden Gate & Colourful Houses

Yes, I am talking about San Francisco. One of the most beautiful cities in States in my opinion. It has that european touch, beautiful victorian houses, cosy small restaurants and street bars, water and of course a beautiful bridge. Maybe that's why it appeals to me so much. Add to that extremely nice and friendly people (personal note), good food, sunny weather and extra creative and innovative ambient (Silicon Valley around the corner) and you have the most genuine and perfect mx of it all.
