Suan Mokkh & New Perspectives

I had the most amazing experience at Suan Mokkh, the Buddhist monastry there you can practise meditation and learn about Buddhism  These 10-days silent meditations retreats start at the 1st of each month. The meditation technique taught is Mindfulness with Breathing. Besides learning and practising how to meditate, participants get an introduction to some other aspects och the Buddha's teaching, including the Four Noble Truths which include the Noble Eightfold Path.

The Suan Mokkhs is a magic place. Beyond the physical and mental pain you have to handle, Suan Mokkh gives you a chans to be with yourself for the whole ten days. You have the chans to do things slowly, without stress and with big dose of mindfullness. You have a chans to play with the butterflies, watch the ants working and see ten amazing sunrises.  I had a chance to be alone with myself having plenty of time to think about things in life we usually don't have time to reflect on. I am very grateful for having this opportunity to clear my mind a bit, get some new perspectives and make some decisions.
