There is this naturale attraction I feel for some cities. Something just clicks from the moment I touch the ground, or perhaps even before, while I am imagining and visualising how it will feel to take the streets of that particular city. I knew I would really like Miami even before I came here. This authentic environment, a genuin mix of latino relaxed and retro cool. Summerish music in every bar, beautiful girls walking in bikinis. Hot air, palms and sand. Turquoise water. Art Deco District and posh hotels. Do I need to explain myself any further? Look at the colour of the sea, I mean that alone would be reason enough for me to fall in love with a place. You will definitely see me returning to this crazy beautiful spot in the future!

Welcome to Miami
My first time in Florida and Miami. I was very happy indeed receiving a call from our supplier, asking me to plan a last minute meeting at their headquarters in Miami before leaving States. Yes please. After San Francisco that was next city on my have-to-visit-while-in-States list.

LA Summer Love
This early summer we stayed in LA for 4 weeks. It actually felt like we were living here rather than just passing by, being tourists, doing sightseeing and all that fun stuff you can find in guidebooks. This time we had a home. We were shopping for groceries, we had our favorite coffe shop and we met the sweet sweet lady who lives in that white house on the other side of the street. We had friends that we met for drinks and we were browsing in furniture shops. At first our home was Santa Monica, and our residence just few steps away form the easy going beach life. Later on we switched this relaxed beach atmosphere to more sophisticated West Hollywood vibe.
What can I say, the sun, the beach, the people. Food, drinks, places, happenings, it was a perfect mixture of all the good things you can get from one place. I am very grateful that we had a opportunity to try this as well - living in LA. How cool!
Welcome to Santa Monica.
Venice Beach one sunny morning.
Santa Monica Pier
Proper breakfast - egg sandwich and blueberry pancakes.
Santa Monica shopping street.

We discovered Pinkberry. It was in a way love at first site! (love at first bite)
This has to be the cutest Diana I have ever seen. Pink & Furry!
If I would be living in Santa Monica it would be right here - Venice Canals.
And later on we moved to West Hollywood.
All this great food, oh my...
And we are ending this session with the famous LA landmark and an amazing sunset.

San Diego & Pool Party
Our highway 101 road trip ended with amazing 10 days in San Diego spent with our dearest friends. This cute middle size city is located very close to the Mexican border. You can definitely feel and see the strong hispanic influences. San Diego is famous for its Gaslamp Quarter, some of the most beautiful beaches in California and in my opinion delicious margaritas. We stayed at Hotel Lafayette, small boutique hotel that happend to be place to go to if you are looking for a proper pool party during the hot sunny days. This was a total surprise, a nice one.
I would warmly recommend a day trip to Island Conorado where you can enjoy drinks at beautiful Conorado Hotel. Built in 1888, it is still consided to be on of America's most beautiful resorts and the beach infront the hotel one of the US finest.
For drinks, food and fun visit area Hillcrest. It's hip, young and perfect for having dinners with friends.
