This early summer we stayed in LA for 4 weeks. It actually felt like we were living here rather than just passing by, being tourists, doing sightseeing and all that fun stuff you can find in guidebooks. This time we had a home. We were shopping for groceries, we had our favorite coffe shop and we met the sweet sweet lady who lives in that white house on the other side of the street. We had friends that we met for drinks and we were browsing in furniture shops. At first our home was Santa Monica, and our residence just few steps away form the easy going beach life. Later on we switched this relaxed beach atmosphere to more sophisticated West Hollywood vibe.
What can I say, the sun, the beach, the people. Food, drinks, places, happenings, it was a perfect mixture of all the good things you can get from one place. I am very grateful that we had a opportunity to try this as well - living in LA. How cool!
Welcome to Santa Monica.
Venice Beach one sunny morning.
Santa Monica Pier
Proper breakfast - egg sandwich and blueberry pancakes.
Santa Monica shopping street.

We discovered Pinkberry. It was in a way love at first site! (love at first bite)
This has to be the cutest Diana I have ever seen. Pink & Furry!
If I would be living in Santa Monica it would be right here - Venice Canals.
And later on we moved to West Hollywood.
All this great food, oh my...
And we are ending this session with the famous LA landmark and an amazing sunset.
